Snow Special by Nassau Beach Club Ibiza:
The essence of the island shines in the diamond of the Alps

The world’s most famous Live it up shines in the “Diamond of the Alps”. That’s the Gurgl ́s nickname, the Austrian ski capital that Nassau Beach Club Ibiza Snow Special has been touring every winter since 2017 for five dreamy days. The next appointment will be from March 6 to 10, 2024. The rhythm of the island that best represents the essence of summer will once again move to one of the most magnetic spots of the Alpine range. The music selected by David Crops, Tom Pool and Laeet, the live shows of the trident formed by the voice of Tony Davis, the violin of B-Linda and the tenor sax of David Saxkuster, and the combo of closeness and good vibes of the rest of the Nassau Group professionals who will travel to Austria, will be deployed in every corner of this mecca of winter sports.

The word Gurgl comes from the expression crown of glaciers. It is not a whimsical toponym. Spectacular masses of ice are spread out around beautiful mountain villages. In that valley, located next to the border of the Italian Tyrol, it snows on average 200 days a year. This has made it possible to create 112 kilometers of slopes for skiing and snowboarding. When the turquoise letters en embroidered on the back of navy blue jackets start to appear on those slopes, everyone will know that the Snow Special of Nassau Beach Club Ibiza has just begun.

Wednesday, March 6 (11.30 a.m. – 4.30 p.m.)
The first stop will be The Festkogl Alm. In this restaurant lined with hardwoods, Tyrolean gastronomic specialties are served at an altitude of 2,600 meters. While hymns are played that will make many lift their skis and move their boots on the snow, bottles of herbal liqueur will be opened to warm the body against the cold and give the party an authentic island flavor.

Thursday, March 7 (11.30 a.m. – 4.30 p.m. | 9 p.m. – 1 a.m.)
The Snow Special caravan will go up to the Hohe Mut Alm one day later. In this beautiful house of alpine architecture and in front of incredible views, the most elegant music of Ibiza will once again be the queen mixing with the pure mountain air. Thursday will have a double session: after sunset, the most animated souls have an appointment at the Downhill Grill. In this grill, located in the lower part of the valley, many will discover why the Nassau by Night concept has become a reference in the Ibizan leisure scene.

Friday, March 8 (11.30 am – 4.30 pm)
On Friday the action moves to the north of Gurgl. Specifically to a rustic hut called Kirchenkarhütte where skiers who ski down some of the most spectacular slopes in the area have lunch. The fireplace and terrace of this cozy eating house will be filled with smiling faces under sunglasses and heads covered by woolen hats bobbing to the rhythm of Nassau Beach Club Ibiza.

Saturday, March 9 (11.00am – 4.00pm | 9pm – 1am)
The weekend will put the icing on the cake with two of the most anticipated moments of the Snow Special. On Saturday, during the day, there will be non-stop dancing at the Top Mountain Star, a bar located at 3,082 meters above sea level. Under a pale sky and with the winter sun filtering through the windows, soul, funk and house music will melt with the perpetual snow that, from up there, you can almost touch. From 9pm onwards, the beat will be played at the Gurgl Carat, the avant-garde congress center built in the village of Obergurgl, the capital of the valley, to host international events.

Sunday, March 10th (11.30am – 4.30pm)
Recovered from the night before, there will still be energy left to wiggle under the pale Tyrolean sky next to the Schermer Schirm, a bar with a 360-degree glass facade that gives a panoramic view of the bucolic landscape from which Nassau Beach Club Ibiza will say goodbye until next year. Not everything will be sad news. One season gives way to another, and the end of the Snow Special will indicate that the magic is about to return to Platja d’en Bossa.
